![]() ![]() ![]() Lay down Caltrops around you in case you pull enemies, hold down Shift and fire into the crowd with your Bola Shot. Having the Templar follower or a tank (Barbarian or higher lvl class) will take majority of the aggro off you. Not playing Solo but with buddies/follower? This makes the process much easier when cutting through enemies. This ability gives you the chance to displace to another location quickly, while stunning enemies in the process when used with the Rattling Roll rune. ![]() Vault is a lifesaver when avoiding enemies. If you find yourself mobbed from an ambush or there are just too many enemies, that is where Vault comes in. This gives ample time to cut down enemies. ![]() As enemies run into your Caltrops they must endure a path of slow movement before they can reach you. Run ahead close to the enemy, laydown a Caltrop and continue to lay them as you move back to a distant position. The Caltrops are the next and mostly used ability you will use, save your Bola. Place them when you know enemies typically ambush from when in the heat of battle, as well as large groups of enemies to clear them out quickly. Different mobs have different tactics, so be smart when placing your Spike Traps. If you want to solo, watching the edges of the screen and being ready to toss down your Spike Traps is how you want to adventure through dungeons. Your play style will change depending on if you plan to solo or play with friends/followers. I made this build for Lvl 30 Demon Hunters that should be by this time ending the first Normal playthrough and going into Nightmare difficulty. The point of this build is to maximize DPS(damage per second) while also locking down your opponents into slowing/stunning skills. Bola Shot w/ Volatile Explosions or Thunderball ![]()
